Celebration of World Food Day in Rabat

On October 27, 2025, ADA took part in the official ceremony celebrating World Food Day, held this year under the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Food and a Better Future.”
Presided over by Mr. Ahmed El Bouari, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, the ceremony was marked by an address from the FAO Representative in Morocco, who praised the Kingdom’s remarkable leadership in promoting more sustainable and climate-resilient agri-food systems.
On this occasion, ADA contributed to the scientific panel, focusing on the transformation of food systems among small producers. The intervention highlighted the various mechanisms implemented by the Agency, notably solidarity-based agriculture, terroir products, agricultural aggregation, youth entrepreneurship, public–private partnerships, and the mobilization of financing, in support of the transition toward sustainable food systems.
Furthermore, ADA had the pleasure of participating in the ceremony for the awarding of medals and certificates of recognition to the mentors of young agri-entrepreneurs trained under the “Agri-Accelerator 2.0” project, jointly launched by ADA and FAO in the Tangier–Tétouan–Al Hoceima region.
