Launch of the Implementation of Agroecology Projects under the IHYAE Program

On December 11, 2025, ADA organized the signing ceremony of six partnership agreements with consortia of non-governmental organizations (NGOs). These agreements concern the implementation of projects aimed at supporting small-scale farms in their transition towards agroecological practices under the IHYAE program, funded through a €4 million grant from the European Union (EU) and the French Development Agency (AFD), within the framework of a Call for Proposals.
Led by ADA, this program is dedicated to assisting smallholder farms in their agroecological transition, in collaboration with consortia of national and international NGOs.
The program notably includes the conversion of 8,000 hectares to agroecological practices, the improvement of the economic performance of 2,700 family farms, support for the marketing of agricultural products derived from agroecology, as well as the adoption of agroecological techniques by the beneficiary farmers.
