Closing seminar of the OASES CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION PROJECT (PACCZO)

The Agency for Agricultural Development (ADA) organized on 13th november 2023, the closing seminar of the OASES CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION PROJECT (PACCZO) under the presidency of the Secretary General of the Department of Agriculture.

This meeting was an opportunity to present the achievements of the project and its impacts on the target population. Financed by a donation of 9.97 MDH by the Adaptation Fund (AF), the PACCZO has been implemented since 2015 in the Drâa-RegionTafilalet for 40,000 beneficiaries and focuses on improving the capacity to adapt and strengthen the resilience of populations in oases to climate change.

This event was marked by the participation of the National Agency for the Development of the Oasian and Argan Areas (ANDZOA), as the implementing entity of the project, the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Drâa-Tafilalet, the ORMVA of Tafilalet and Ouarzazate, the Central Directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Hydraulic Basin Agency (ABH) of Guir-Ziz-Rheris, as well as various partners and representatives of professional organizations that have benefited from the different activities of the project.
