The Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mr. Ahmed El Bouari, chaired on April 25, 2026, on the sidelines of SIAM 2026, the award ceremony of the 7th edition of the Moroccan Terroir Products Competition organized by the Agricultural Development Agency (ADA).
Seven excellence awards were granted, namely: thyme honey from the Agdez cooperative (Casablanca-Settat region), argan oil from the Boukhdo Akrmoud cooperative (Marrakech-Safi region), olive oil from the Aguerswak cooperative (Marrakech-Safi region), cheese from the Al Oulfa cooperative (Marrakech-Safi region), Mejhoul dates from the DIFAT ZIZ Economic Interest Group (Drâa-Tafilalet region), six-grain couscous from the Tayadirt cooperative (Fès-Meknès region), and apple vinegar flavored with rosemary from the Dayaati cooperative (Drâa-Tafilalet region).
As for the medals, a total of 455 were awarded, including 134 gold, 141 silver, and 180 bronze medals, recognizing the best products nationwide across various categories. This edition also featured the awarding of an innovation prize to organic saffron-infused argan oil produced by the Amini cooperative (Marrakech-Safi region).
