The 6th edition of the Moroccan Terroir Products Competition
The Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mr. Mohammed Sadiki, presided on Monday, March 04, 2024 in Marrakech, the inauguration of the 6th edition of the Moroccan Terroir Products Competition.
Organized by the Agency for Agricultural Development (ADA) from March 04 to 06, 2024, this biannual event is considered a promising alternative to strengthen the visibility and notoriety of local products.
More than 1,200 products presented by 348 producers from all regions of Morocco are submitted to the assessment of a jury, composed of more than a hundred tasters, bringing together experts, producers and informed consumers.
Created in 2014, this competition aims to promote the promotion and support of agricultural cooperatives while stimulating the spirit of competitiveness between producers of local products in order to meet the requirements of the national and international market.
