The Agency for Agricultural Development participated in the Global Programming Conference of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) in Songdo, South Korea, from 19 to 23 August 2019. This participation was the opportunity to recall the importance accorded by Morocco to this conference and the increasing role of the GCF in the fight against the effects of climate change through the financing of adaptation and mitigation projects, particularly at the level of the African continent and was also an occasion to demonstrate the interest in taking climate change into account in the agricultural sector and the need to give it priority in project financing.
