ADA's participation at the COP29
The Agricultural Development Agency (ADA) actively participated in COP 29, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 22, 2024. Organized under the auspices of the United Nations, this global event served as a strategic opportunity for ADA to reaffirm its role as a National Accredited Entity to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Adaptation Fund (AF). It also placed ADA at the heart of discussions and initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable and resilient agriculture in the face of growing climate change challenges.
As part of COP 29’s side activities, ADA organized two significant Side Events. The first focused on the theme “Readiness Grants: A Tool for Building the Capacity of Accredited Entities to Access Climate Finance.” The second centered on “Direct Access to Climate Finance for Strengthening the Resilience of Vulnerable Ecosystems: The Case of the Climate Change Adaptation Project in Oasis Areas (PACCZO).”
