AGRIYOUNG INNOVATE National Competition: 4 award-winning projects
The Agency for Agricultural Development (ADA) organized on the 6ht march 2023 in Ben Guerrir, the award ceremony for the best projects of the first edition of the AGRIYOUNG INNOVATE National Competition. This pioneering program with a national dimension, is part of the operationalization of the ambitious youth entrepreneurship program which is at the heart of the Generation Green 2020-2030 strategy carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Waters and Forests.
Four first innovative projects obtained the approval of the jury and were awarded, the first prize was awarded to Abdessadek AGHRINANE and Hamza EL KHARROUBI for their project PGPR TECHNOLOGIES intended for the production of biofertilizers, biostimulators and biopesticides, the second prize went to El Mahdi ABOULMANADEL and Yahya EL AKIL for their project, DEEPLEAF which offers a plant pathology detection solution based on deep learning algorithms and the third prize was awarded to Hind BANCHAABOUN and Rita HADJIOUI for the BEHAV project, an eco-design stratup of innovative materials in textiles based on cactus and non-recovered aloe vera waste, as for the jury's favorite prize, it was awarded to the UniVert Energy project by Feriel BOUHALI and Mehdi ZERHOUNI who propose a device producing biogas from household waste. The winners will be supported to land the first client, as for the other participants in the competition, they will all benefit from territorial immersion and support for the creation of their businesses.
