In presence of 22 African countries, held on 22-23 july 2019 in Skhirate the First Dialogue on mobilizing resources to scale to support Adaptation and Resilience of Agriculture in Africa, organized by the Initiative for Adaptation of African Agriculture (AAA) and African Adaptation Initiative (AAI).

The ADA participated in this Dialogue as AAA Morocco Focal Point.

ADA’s General Director, El Mahdi ARRIFI highlighted the role of the Agency in mobilizing funding for the implementation of climate change resilience projects at the national level.

He also highlighted the opportunities of climate finance, seized by the ADA, as a public entity accredited by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Adaptation Fund (AF) conferring it the national exclusivity of direct access to the grants of these two funds.

In the margins of this dialogue, Mr. ARRIFI had a meeting with the Guinean delegation to discuss opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural field and the mobilization of climate finance.
