Mr. Aziz AKHANNOUCH, Head of Government of Morocco, and Mr. Jean-Noël BARROT, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, presided over the inauguration of the 61st edition of the International Agricultural Show in Paris (SIA 2025) on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
This event holds great significance due to Morocco's participation as the first guest country of honor, from February 22 to March 2, 2025. This choice highlights the strength of the strategic relations between Morocco and France while showcasing their fruitful cooperation, particularly in the agricultural sector.
The opening ceremony took place in the presence of a high-level official delegation, led by the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, Mr. Ahmed BOUARI, accompanied by numerous professionals and investors. Several prominent figures from various sectors, with strong ties to Morocco and France, also honored the event with their presence.
Organized by the ADA, Morocco's participation stood out with the presence of 30 exhibitors representing 76 agricultural cooperatives, bringing together more than 2,000 small farmers from different regions of Morocco.
This participation offers visitors a true immersion into the diversity, authenticity, and richness of Moroccan terroir through a wide range of agricultural products.
